Meta are members of ASESA (The Asbestos & Environmental Safety Association Ltd) a not-for-profit organisation, created by the Asbestos Industry, for the Asbestos industry. ASESA was set up to offer supportive guidance, encouragement, and clear direction to the UK Asbestos industry, ensuring that both individual and organisational competence are sustained and continually improved.

We work within the strict guidance of the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974, the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, and the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP).
Our management team are extensively trained and have a combined wealth of over 50 years experience within the industry. Meta is also a member of the NDTG (National Demolition Training Group) and operates a comprehensive training programme for Operatives and Management. All hold SMSTS, CCDO and CPCS qualifications.
All Meta asbestos operatives are trained to supervisor level and hold an NVQ2 Diploma in Hazardous Waste Removal as a minimum and already hold or are working towards either NVQ3 in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction) or NVQ4 in Licensed Asbestos Removal for Contracts Managers.
ACAD Excellence in Audit Award
The ACAD Excellence in Audit award, goes to those organisations who have scored 100% in their ACAD site audit and recognises the very best of the Licensed Asbestos Industry, with only a small number of licence holders reaching the grade each year.
During Meta’s membership of ACAD, the company was frequently awarded ACAD’s ‘Excellence in Audit’ in recognition of its continuing commitment to industry best practice and maintaining exceptional standards.
